The room was stylish and had own bathroom plus an electric kettle and glassware.

Best possible location for our visit to landscaped gardens just a short stroll away from the hotel. Based in an impressive area. Brand-new, nicely furnished room with view into a light shaft, quiet atmosphere.

Responsive staff, free breakfast, perfect location very close to Close to the shopping street, good public transport routes and the metro and the central station. Great value rooms with very clean beds and wake-up service.

We had well-appointed room that was kept at a cold temperature and available with a park view, very good bathroom, balconies.

The breakfast has large and outstanding options with good quality cereal, Nordic cuisine, lactose free options.

It was fairly clean, breakfast was excellent. The hotel was in a very central setting in the restaurant which we enjoyed. There were a Juliet balcony and a storage in the room, enjoyed that.

We all loved newly remodelled and stylish room with bathtub, breakfast had been served, for example.

Overall had very good stay on a business trip. The room was brand-new and air-conditioned with 2 bathrooms, I had a good rest.

Stylish and fairly clean place, everything was really good. I got double room for 1 night with the heating, bathroom plus bunk beds, enjoyed it. The ambience felt really quiet and the service was welcoming. All in all a really nice stay, the venue met requests.

We were moved to a suite and had a Juliet balcony, climate control, and a storage space. The location was unbeatable opposite a leafy square.

Good location in the beautiful area and it was a bonus to be near to the train station. Neat room with comfortable bed as well as bathtub, exactly what we had in mind.

Everything was lovely, the parking was on-site, the room was spacious and luxurious. The accommodation had a very central location to library to restaurant. It was also very close to both Oslo and Norway, and shopping area. I greatly enjoyed this hotel.

Had fine stay for children during weekend with respectful staff and incredible location to key tourist areas. The hotel was located in the centre of the city.

Everything was very comfortable, perfect location so close to the restaurant / cafe, a Fjords Travel "Norway in a Nutshell" trip and royal palace, fabulously helpful stuff.

The place was extremely convenient and had well-trained staff on reception and concierge services, loved the stay. I was offered an amazing breakfast at Grand Cafe. Its location in Oslo was best possible, just off the centre of the city around all the historical buildings and shopping.

It was a cool place, had accommodating and incredibly kind staff on reception and concierge services. The location was marvellous and fab for us - close to bars and restaurants. There was lots of bars and restaurants.

It was a grand old and lovely historic hotel, no complains at all, recommend. Everything was very good during 4 days, enjoyed its stunning location just off the waterfront ferries as well as Train station, underground, airport express, museums, Akershus Fortress and harbourfront. The room was spacious, and we had a marvellous view of the inside. The service provided there was exceptional.

Stayed in wheelchair accessible room with balconies as well as window open, it worked well for me.

Staff were excellent co-operating, breakfast was marvellous. The bed was comfy and the room was newly remodelled and reasonably large. And there was a pleasant view of the city hall in the sun.

The double room I stayed in was great value with a park view. The location was best possible - ease of access to Storting building. The hotel itself was in an impressive area, just off The Parliament Building which was at one end of the boulevard and the Royal Palace at the other, and a beautiful, broad, main boulevard.

Had 6 nights in Oslo, spent our time here lovely. The staff were welcoming and exceptional and our room was impressive with a balcony and really comfy bed plus updated facilities. The service was absolutely excellent. A bus station was close to the place.

Didn't like the staff, some of them were not particularly helpful.

Loved this old-fashioned hotel, recommend. Everything was really good, the wifi was strong. Coffee/tea makers and glassware where a nice touch. It had perfect location with access to National Museum nearby. There was a lobby restaurant nearby.

The staff were pleasant and exceptional and showed us the pleasant on-site traditional restaurant. Although the room was immaculate and had exceptionally comfortable bed, the view was not very nice.

It was a perfectly pleasant stay in the centre of Oslo. Moreover, it's short walk to Eckberg garden, the OSLO highlights, and the parliament building.

A fashionable room provided with window open, 2 bathrooms, for example. Perfect service, parking on site. By the way, parking fee - gbp 41 per day.

Spent here 1 great day and would stay here again and again. Planned to see Oslo major attractions and it was excellent base for visiting all of them. My room was spotless and had a personal safe, a kettle and a mini bar...

got huge room with window open and view into a light shaft plus a bath had a very pleasant stay overall. its personnel was attentive and efficient, nothing too much trouble. the location was prime for walking around karl johans gate street.

It's ideal place for sightseeing and exploring Oslo.

There were exceptionally comfortable beds and a work desk, satellite TV and a coffee maker inside the room.

It deserves its 5 stars. Really truly enjoyed the bed, it was comfortable. The downtown is within 10 minutes' walk. Visited their restaurant Palmen couple of times.

Location near to oslo city hall. We would recommend the hotel and staff. Gamle Oslo district won't disappoint you...

There were beautiful tourist spots near this hotel, for example oslo city hall. In love with grand. You should definitely explore Frogner district, it's worth it
