Scandic Byporten

The hotel was fantastic and wonderful, and the staff were accommodating, really enjoyed the wonderful location just next door to museums/ aker brygge, the Byporten -shopping centre and the shopping district. There were nice styled and functional rooms with amazing view. I've been here for 1 night, the breakfast was incredible with gorgeous view and the " hot " food, as example.

There was signal to be needed.

Pleasant hotel, pleasant staff, fantastic location to the Central station in Oslo. New-fashioned rooms, thematically designed in the interesting style. Attached restaurant with healthy cuisine.

The rooms were compact with baloons, the staff were absolutely kind. Luggage storage, an electric kettle, and a chair turned out to be good.

Didn't like the staff, some of them were not so friendly.

Had large standard king room with comfy beds and wake-up service was available in it. The service provided there was great!

We enjoyed staying 2 nights here. The hotel was pleasant, and fairly clean, and the location was marvellous and wonderful close to the bus station for airport transfers. The breakfast was amazing and outstanding, with great varieties of food and the staff was pleasant. The service here was welcoming.

Stunningly beautiful and pleasant accommodation with stunning setting adjacent to a shoping mall, and the relaxed capital of Norway-Oslo.

That was wonderful hotel set in shopping area, not far from the Oslo Central Station, all the main public transport and town centre. Stayed in new-fashioned and well-designed standard double room with the window facing the central train station. It was in the very central location, had exceptionally kind staff on that shift. The food was freshly made, had variety of options.

We needed to have signal, but they didn't have it.

The hotel was an interesting place for enjoying a very pleasant area, short walk to the Byporten -shopping centre next to the Oslo Central railwaystation, a big shopping mall and fast transport links to museums/ aker brygge and surrounding areas for dinner. It had an attached restaurant for breakfast.

New-fashioned and well-designed rooms complete with the most amazing view, a shower, a double bed. Extremely accommodating and very courteous staff, they smile all the time. It offers excellent services.

Pleasant and outstandingly accommodating staff who were always there to help. I was offered a room with perfect views over the bay and ferry terminal.

Stunningly beautiful hotel in a lively area, next to restaurants and pubs. Neat and compact rooms with queen bed available. Marvellous location, next to a bus stop. Besides, easy to get to a main church.

The place was clean with an excellant stuff on that shift. The hotel was set in a very central area near to the new opera house. On the whole fabulous food; Fjola was in the vicinity.

The restaurant was excellent for breakfast here, I had healthy dishes.

The location was great, within a close distance from Karl Johans gate Street. Everything was perfect, even so a few employees were not that friendly.

Exceptionally comfortable hotel located in a cozy area next to many attractions, restaurants and popular landmarks, and metro and train station. The standard double room with bunk beds, facilities worked for us.

Had a fantastic stay with my family members, we spent 1 night here, everything was good. Greatly enjoyed the family room with bunk beds, wouldn't mind staying there all day.

The staff is amazingly kind here, the services are great, and location is perfect close enough to the train, tram and bus stations, station overlooking main square and a nice restaurant, very interesting decoration and big window with view of the entrance of central station. The rooms are a decent size and they have luggage storage, an electric kettle, and a nice table. The English bar is huge, truly enjoyed this place.

Unpleasant views from the window.

I was here for 2 nights and ate at attached restaurant for breakfast. The location of the hotel was great - a 10-15 minute walk from a medieval castle.

Great food, new-fashioned room with bunk bed, a fantastic view, large panoramic windows. Marvellous location next to center, and shopping mall and station in an excellent area. Nearby Opland Burger & Steak - great place to chill out.

Marvellous and absolutely fantastic breakfast with a nice view and pretty friendly staff. Modern and beautifully designed rooms with bath tub and huge bar area. Simple check-in, generally excellent service.

Clean place & nice and very obliging staff on that shift. Very central location, within easy walking distance of a contemporary opera house. Healthy food in the attached restaurant in the vicinity.

The venue is quaint, food is outstanding, incredible location to many tourist sites. The rooms are functional and good-sized here with kettle, amazing view and iron. The breakfast is delicious and enjoyable and the staff is outstandingly accommodating.

Pleasant hotel with delicious breakfast. Efficiency of the staff. The quick check-in process too. Awesome location to Oslo City Shoppingcenter. Based close enough to the square, and shopping mall and station.

The hotel is reliable and fairly clean, nestled in a lovely building with particularly nice view at the harbor. The room is fashionable with a functional decor. The atmosphere of the property is family. Besides, they have very GOOD wi-fi.

Everything was perfect during 2 days, truly enjoyed its marvellous and particularly good location not far from the central bus station on Schweigaards Gate as well as harbour promenade right around the corner. The standard twin room was neat, compact, with a clean bathroom.

I booked standard queen room, it was attractive and complete with a queen bedroom, hairdryer plus a lovely view.

I liked the hotel, it was fairly clean with pleasant and welcoming staff on that shift. The breakfast offered lots of healthy meals. I was there for 2 nights and ate at attached restaurant for breakfast.

the hotel was fairly clean, facilities were great, unbeatable and awesome location near the centre, downtown and a shoping mall. got the same standard twin room booked online, liked that.

Well, it was a very nice stay for the first 2 nights of our stay. Enjoyed the room on the top floors, our bed was exceptionally comfortable. It had very central location close to Jernbanetorget.

Overall, it's good choice for exploring Oslo attractions.

The food offer is good! Moreover, free Wi-Fi was provided.

We found Aquavit Bar to dine in 100 feet from the hotel. We really enjoyed the fact that we chose scandic byporten. The property met expectation❤
