Scandic Vulkan

The hotel was big with a good and unbeatable location short walk to shopping center or city center and many very good restaurants.

I was here for party, everything was brand-new. The rooms turned out to be stunning and quiet with comfy beds, huge windows and a twin bedroom. Got sensational breakfasts with a sweet cheese, really good gluten free options, salmon.

It has convenient setting by the river n the regenerated Vulkan area. The units are compact, modern.

The hotel was nice little and fabulous and placed in an eclectic-style building. Luxurious and the best breakfast with a good variaty was a nice touch. The venue was in a stunning location, to the efficient bus lines.

Luxurious and the best breakfast with a great selection of gorgeous food. Compact, spotless room with a nice bathroom. Location great and lovely, near a tram station. Pleasant restaurant approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the hotel.

The rooms were well-equipped and tastefully decorated and the location was peaceful. I truly enjoyed the fact that a bus station was close to the hotel.

Pity, but the beds were uncomfortable.

Close to a bus station, the location was peaceful and convenient, close to the bus stop. Had some takeaway meals at Barton Rouge, set close to the hotel, I couldn't resist.

I had a luxurious and absolutely fantastic breakfast with a good variaty, the food was lovely. Even though some of the staff were not so helpful, I had a really nice stay. The location was particularly good and perfect in an interesting area, very close to the efficient bus lines, local bars, restaurants and a great food market and Quite close to center especailly if biking.

It is a modern and pretty standard property located in Grunerlokka district near city centre and in "artist " hip area, much nicer then the nearby streets and non-touristic bars and restaurants nearby. Standard king room is new-fashioned, has a particularly well equipped bathroom. The staff are genuinely friendly and the location is particularly good and unbeatable to Gruenerlokka neighborhood.

Lots of good food. Quiet and best possible location with a bus station close to the building. Just 15 min walk to downtown.

The property's location was marvellous and brilliant, in a still in a quiet area near Akerselva. And we were short walk to shopping center, many very good restaurants and nice bars and food store. Overall it was bright with comfy beds.

Special and chic place to stay 2 km away from Akerselva River. Amiable and excellent staff, easy check in. Magnificent location in the shopping area, short walk to park walk with the waterfall at Molla, and many very good restaurants. Fab and fabulous food, good service.

The hotel had the best possible location close to Vega Scene. Set close to a bus station, which helped to explore Oslo. The breakfast was rich with a good variaty, the staff was very amiable.

It was clean, and the people were super-friendly. I found the hotel's location marvellous and absolutely perfect, not far from tram stops for regular services to the city centre, interesting restaurants, and different food outlets. The rooms were modern looking and functional, had safe for safety.

Good location, it is nearby a tram stop. The hotel is 200 metres away from The Corner, where we got some food. The breakfast was incredible, we truly enjoyed lots of meals.

The total stay was nice for a business trip. Luxury and the best breakfast and the staff was outstandingly accommodating. It was in the very central location next to the great Food Court. Further, it was just next door to the river and other entertainment venues, Mathallen and Gruenerlokka, and other shops, food store, restaurants.

Very central location of this affordable hotel was a bonus. Spent our evenings in nearby V Bar og Bistro enjoying drinks and atmosphere.

That was modern and good standard hotel set in upscale area, near shuttle bus to the airport, Vulkan, one of Oslo's most hip city developments and trendy part of Oslo. Appreciated the urban-style building and compact and reasonably large room with a view. A shower, a hair dryer and bath sheets were available there. The location was good for walking around Sofienberg Park. I came here for 4 nights and had an amazing stay.

All you need for party in Oslo. It offers delicious breakfasts and has a great restaurant. The location is marvellous, 2 km from a medieval castle.

Views are miserable.

Sincerely, it was a really really nice stay for a business trip. Loved the price of our double room and its essentials. The staff were top-class and the design was modern. The location was best possible and brilliant, not too far from Standard. Everything was simply good.

The breakfast was good and the room was nice. Akershus fortress was within walking distance. A huge variety restaurants to eat close by, like Vulkanfisk that was only 5 minutes' walk away. We liked scandic vulkan...

the location was great, with lucky bird nearby. hotel was so close to such places as akershus fortress. the staff was all friendly. you should definitely explore grunerlokka district, it's worth it.
