Thon Hotel Opera

We where in air conditioned standard twin room. Next to the train station, the location was magnificent and incredibly comfortable, in the restaurant overlooking the opera house. And it was approx 10-15 minutes' walk from Princes Street Gardens.

We both loved it, the place is modern and pretty standard and suited fine. Great location - a short walk to everywhere we needed. In general the service was great.

The whole place was spotlessly clean and the staff were amazingly attentive. We booked a standard double room, it was brand-new with fresh design. Close to the train station, the location was stunning and incredible, easy to get to sights.

The place was perfectly clean, I booked the standard king room with harbour views, everything was perfect. The staff were amazingly attentive and best and gave me good recommendations. It was in a magnificent location, close to a train station. Tbh, had a perfectly pleasant stay for 4 nights.

The hotel staff was not so helpful.

Everything was well-maintained, we had relaxing 3 days here. The breakfast was amazing and provided with clod foods and cheeses, as for instance. The location offered was marvellous not far from Central Station, the Folk Museum, Viking Museum and Fram Museum, and the opera house and the water front. Also, Saint Saviour Pimlico was placed at a small distance. The service was EXCELLENT with a very early check-in.

The units are functional, contemporary with a view.

The bedroom was perfectly clean and trendy. I had a good view of the city from my window. The staff were polite and location was marvellous and brilliant.

The breakfast I was offered was of a poor quality, it could be better.

Reasonably large and functional rooms, great central location. Right by the train station, convenient.

Air-conditioned, brand-new rooms overlooking the harbour. Had good a balcony, coffee-making facilities, and armchairs.

This was my really good stay of night or day. Everything was perfect, the wifi was excellent. Excellent position was an added bonus. It was located close to a train station giving access to many Oslo attractions.

It was in a central location, to most major attractions. And we were very close to main train station, the central bus and tram stops and Bygdøy ferry.

Central location of this exclusive hotel was a bonus. I really enjoyed to be walk from the central station. Overall it was huge, with a separate bathroom.

The location was unbeatable and brilliant with exceptionally good views. This hotel was in a wonderful area.

Very spartan room, I was a little disappointed.

Had the standard twin room and it was tastefully decorated and well-kept with great views over christian fredriks plass.

The room was spacious and airy, provided with slippers and a balcony plus robes.

Well, Wi-Fi was weak.

I did not want to leave there and would have extended the stay. The accommodation had a central location next To Train And Bus Terminus With Easy Access To Dining And Shopping. The employees were super friendly and exceptionally kind.

Can be described as a very nice experience, would definitely recommend. Amazingly kind staff, amazing views of the harbor, everything is well-maintained. The room is reasonably sized and functional and equipped with 2 windows, an iron, and a sofa.

Reasonably clean and quaint place, tasty and marvellous breakfast with a wide range of options. Marvellous location by a new national library being built across the road, funky style building. Also - short walk to museums. Contemporary superior double room with single bed.

Possibly the best and very enjoyable stay on a business trip. Tasty breakfast with a good choice of food, well priced.

I asked for superior queen room with an iron and a couch, it was functional.

The location was central, amazing right next to the airport train. Further, it was next to the central train station and the tram and bus interchange, half a dozen decent restaurants and the Oslo Public Library. The room was a decent size and contemporary, it had 2 windows, an iron, and a sofa set.

The location was marvellous and absolutely perfect and the room was spotlessly clean. It was easy to find the train station, located right by the property. All the employees were super-friendly and incredibly kind. The standard queen room I stayed in was reasonably large with a good shower.

This hip new hotel has an absolutely perfect and fantastic location convenient to walk to airport express with nice view of the square. The standard king room is brand-new with balcony and a good shower plus a safe.

Magnificent and wonderful location, it was right by a train station. I ate at a reasonably priced restaurant with good lunch.

Sincerely, it was a pleasant stay for 4 nights. The hotel was in a super central setting by the opera house. Moreover, it's short walk to Right next to both the train station as well as many interesting sights.

We where given a superior queen room with a balcony upon arrival. There was a wide range of food for breakfast, including cereals, pastries and fresh fruit.

The room was very well-kept with a luxury bathroom. The location was perfect and exceptionally nice, the staff were very efficient.

Perfectly clean place with savoury and bountiful breakfasts. Good facilities in general, excellent location right beside the waterfront in Oslo. Also - really close to main railway station, airport train has a stop and the water front.

The accommodation was cool with very very nice and enthusiastic staff. I was offered an outstanding continental breakfast. The room was trendy, new-fashioned, nice size bathroom. Its brilliant, central location was a plus. Walk from the central station, a shopping area and supermarkets were not far as well.

The breakfast was delicious, abundant with freshly pressed orange juice and a Nespresso machine, as for instance. The location was unbeatable and practical and easy to travel to a main street and an opera house walk from the hotel. The property was set in a central area.

We were in an excellent and wonderful location at a short distance from a medieval castle.

The breakfast was plentiful and sensational with lots of delicacies. The staff and people generally were welcoming. The hotel was in the central setting to from the airport by FLYTOGET.

It is well priced. Fairly clean and pleasant place, has pleasant views of the harbor near the opera house. I enjoyed pleasant and welcoming personnel that ensures guests have a great stay. The standard queen room is airy and bright. The breakfast is marvellous and plentiful with lots of food. The location is unbeatable and strategic, 1 km from Be Extended.

The staff was very-very nice, the bathroom was nice size. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, rooms spotless and new-fashioned. A wide array of food items served for exceptional and outstanding breakfast.

The staff was pleasant and accommodating, offered us wake up service and ironing free of charge. We were given a king room with nice toiletries and balcony plus very nice view. The service was nice with parking nearby.

It had central location close to Jernbanetorget.

Stylish and clean place, magnificent view to the harbor. Early check-in, efficient employees. Stunning location for our visit to a medieval castle within easy walking distance of the hotel. Next to restaurants and bars and next to a museum and a main street. The restaurant was amazing, for breakfast: )

Its standard double room was cool with a balcony, BEST breakfast of the trip, for instance. All the staff was pleasant, fixed my issues. The location was exceptional, relatively close to Oslo Reptile Park...

The location was amazing and brilliant, within walking distance of a multi - purpose indoor arena. Besides, we were close enough to the opera house and the central train station.

We had a wonderful at this hotel : excellent location and helpful staff. Greatly enjoyed dining at Olivia Ostbanehallen, set within 5 minutes' walk. Moreover, it had parking nearby. It deserves its 4 stars...

That place was terrific including the food and location. 1 mile to nobel peace center. Choosing for lunch Scala Restaurant, which is situated 100 feet away was a good idea. Gamle Oslo district deserves your attention
